Great ideas begin with what others miss

Like a lot of moms...

I've spent more time cleaning bathrooms than I'd ever like to admit.

You know that moment when you've just finished scrubbing the toilet… only to discover mysterious little splatters around it five minutes later?

I used to joke that my bathroom could stay clean for about the length of a commercial break.

After years of asking my boys to "please aim better," I finally realized I was trying to solve the wrong problem.

Kids are kids.Husbands can be... well... husbands. Instead of trying to change the people I loved, I started wondering if I could change the problem instead.

So I Did.

That simple question stayed with me. The more I thought about it, the more I realized the problem wasn't unique to my home. Friends joked about it. Family members laughed because they understood exactly what I meant. Nearly everyone with boys—or even grown men—in the house had experienced the same frustration.

If so many families shared this everyday problem, why wasn't there a simple solution?

So I started sketching ideas. Then I built prototypes. Then I redesigned them. Again. And again.

What began as a simple idea quickly became a personal mission to create something that was practical, discreet, affordable, and easy enough that anyone could use it.

One Simple Goal

Guardian Angel was never intended to be a complicated product. Quite the opposite. I wanted something that quietly worked in the background—protecting the bathroom without demanding attention or creating more chores.

Every design decision came back to one question:

More Than a Product

Somewhere along the journey, I realized Guardian Angel had become about much more than keeping bathrooms cleaner.

It had become proof that ordinary people can solve everyday problems with creativity, persistence, and a willingness to keep trying—even when the answer doesn't come easily.

I'm not part of a huge corporation with an endless research budget. I'm simply someone who saw a frustrating problem, believed there had to be a better way, and refused to give up until I found one.

Every prototype, every redesign, every late-night idea, and every setback taught me something new. Little by little, Guardian Angel became the product I had imagined years earlier.

Why "Guardian Angel"?

The name came naturally.

Guardian Angel quietly protects something valuable without asking for recognition. That's exactly what I wanted this product to do.

Once installed, it simply goes about its job—almost unnoticed—helping protect one of the most frequently used rooms in your home.

No complicated technology. No moving parts. Just thoughtful design solving a surprisingly common problem.
